So....where is it? But seriously....it was my pleasure to terrorize the Rum Boogie with you...Chris you did a wonderful job at the instore with Liz and Ben....all in all you guys are my kind of band. Stay in touch and be sure to let me know when the record is finished!! Kyle Kyle Deibler <kyledeibler@cox.net> Scottsdale, AZ USA - Friday, March 04, 2005 at 21:38:53 (PST) Gentlemen: The last time I saw you perform, the hair on my arms LITERALLY stood out. Keep a good thing going. Keep it simple, keep it real...the less effects, the better. Chris--you have a gift beyond the scope of normal men: use it, live it, share it. Rod--a far cry from the river lot, huh? ("Foreskin...Live and Uncut"); keep under-playing and pick your spots, lobster-boy. Remember me on your first CD; you want me to sing one right? I can't tell you how 'REFRESHING' it is to hear this type of music again. I spent 4 years in The Hoodoo Blues Band playing around in my local club scene in the mid 90's, then all of a sudden it was back to X music at the local clubs, acoustic duo's replaced our loud overdriven guitars, real singers, thumpin' bass lines and good hard playing drummers. At age 45 I decided to just retire from club gigs altogether, it's been 3 yrs now since I have played in a club. A friend in Florida sent me the link to 2 of your tunes online yesterday and man it brought back so many memories of this GREAT music. Very impressive guys! Thanks for giving me back my 'faith' in the music scene. You guys ROCK, I mean that! Can't wait to you come to the Birmingham area again. Once again thank you for making good music good... Bill McNabb <missinmikey@bellsouth.net> Sylacauga, AL USA - Thursday, February 17, 2005 at 05:54:26 (PST) You guys kicked ass at the International Blues Challenge! The house was rockin on the 2 nights that you took the stage at the Rum Boogie Cafe on Beale Street. Thanks for putting Central PA on the map! You guys are awesome. So glad we (Beeze, Mike and me) came out to see you in Memphis. It was a great experience! Everyone has to go to the IBC at least once in their lifetime. It far exceeded my expectations...The bands were tremendous. The blues are definitely alive and well! Great Job Guys! Larry-Dale Larry-Dale Johnson <ljohnson2@sw.rr.com> Wichita Falls, TX USA - Friday, January 21, 2005 at 19:03:13 (PST) Hey guys...It was great to see you all play in Lewisburb a few weeks ago. I live in Chicago now but I still havent heard any bands that I enjoy more than the Kahunas. I hope you can make it out here sometime to play some gigs...if so make sure you let me know. Good luck in Memphis!! Steve SykeS <sykes@mad.scientist.com> Williamsport, PA USA - Sunday, January 16, 2005 at 21:11:46 (PST) Chris, Kimbo and Rod....Simply amazing, stellar performace. It's been a long time coming for such top notch musicians to finally get the recognition you deserve. It is my professional opinion that there are no musicians within the area that can be compared to the musicianship, chemistry and overall sound your band generates. I wish you all much success...we aren't getting any younger are we!!! Keep doing what you're doing it's a pleasure to finally hear a live band that "gets it". Although the thought has crossed my mind...why Kimbo isn't wearing spandx pants and use tons of makeup and hairspray? Cuz he doesn't NEED to. You guyz kick it...so make us proud.
